Who we are
Polligon is operated by Intellitics, Inc., a Delaware corporation operating in California ("Polligon," "we"). Contact: hello@polligon.io.
What Polligon is
Polligon is a community engagement platform built around living surveys: hosts publish questions over time, participants answer and may update their answers while questions are open, and results are shown as anonymized aggregates once privacy thresholds are met.
Accounts
Participants sign in with an email address and a confirmation link; there are no passwords. By confirming, you verify that the email address is yours. Hosts operate under an organization account; during the beta, host accounts are provisioned by us on request.
Host responsibilities
Hosts author their own surveys. The host — not Polligon — is responsible for: the content and lawfulness of their questions, including establishing a lawful basis where a question invites sensitive information; their own invitations and audience choices; reviewing reported freeform content (Polligon provides a report link, not moderation); and how they use and share results.
Participant conduct
Answer as yourself, once — one account per person per survey. Don’t submit content that is unlawful, harassing, or that deliberately identifies other private individuals. Freeform answers may be shown verbatim (unattributed) to other participants or the public where the host enables it, once thresholds are met.
Acceptable use
No attempts to re-identify individuals from aggregates; no scraping of results beyond what the host has made public; no interference with the service; no use of the platform to send spam.
Content and data
Hosts retain rights to their survey content. Participants retain rights to their answers and grant Polligon the license needed to store, aggregate, and display them per the survey’s visibility settings. Polligon retains all rights to the platform itself. Individual answers are never displayed with attribution.
Plans and payment
During the beta, plans are provisioned manually and no self-serve payment exists. A live survey is never hard-blocked for exceeding its participant cap.
Privacy
Our privacy notice at /privacy explains what we collect and why, the anonymization thresholds, and your rights, including deleting your account and data.
Availability and maintenance
We aim for uninterrupted service and deploy without downtime by default. Where maintenance requires a pause, we announce it in the app beforehand. The service is provided "as is" during the beta; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Termination
You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy notice). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polligon’s aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app and take effect no earlier than 14 days after notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
